The event was fabulous. It served as a platform for industry practitioners to exchange and share innovative ideas, new projects, trends around the globe, and more importantly meet people who work in the same industry around Asia Pacific face-to-face. I would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the organiser; everything was well organised. The event truly exceeds my expectation and I look forward to attending Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific again in 2016!

It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to visit this year’s Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific, held in our very own land, Japan, the host country of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020. I am looking forward to visiting the convention, letting know about the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee’s latest developments and receiving the insightful opinions of the sports and business representatives.
Toshiro Muto, Chief Executive Officer, Tokyo 2020
Thank you very much for putting on such a great event in Japan. I’m already looking forward to 2017.
Ryo Date, Head of City, Venue and Team Services Planning, Project Manager, Tournament Operational Planning, Rugby World Cup 2019 Organising Committee
It is very positive for our organisation to be involved in the Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific event as the Event Partner. As the world knows, Japan will soon have some massive sports events to organise – 2019 Rugby World Cup as well as Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition to this the Japanese Government has placed great emphasis on the innovation of the National Sports Industry including specific focus on the role of stadium and arena management. It is my opinion that this is the best timing to hold the event in Japan and we, Space Media Japan (part of the Congress Corporation), are very excited to be a part of this new industry.
Hiroyuki Sugano, President and CEO, Space Media Japan
We found the event incredibly well organised, with the balance between the exhibitors’ space and the speaking slots just right. Also, the organisers were incredibly helpful in connecting us with new potential clients. What did we get out the conference? Simple: new contacts and new prospects. We had a fantastic amount of interest in our services from a broad spectrum of attendees, especially architects from around the region keen to work with us on their future sports venue projects.
Stefano Cammelli, Head of Wind Engineering, BMT Fluid Mechanics Ltd
Firstly, congratulations on your inaugural event here in Singapore. It was an interesting few days and great to see so many international delegates here – and only yards from our new office! I thought it really proved how there is a healthy thirst to discuss and explore opportunities in Asia, so I’m delighted you are returning next year. Thank you for the very kind invitation to join the panel, and share some of our experience with your delegates. There are lessons to be shared when you step off a plane and set up to trade overseas – and particular lessons to be learnt in Asia.
Roger Hooker, Senior Director , Integrated Security Consultants (ISC)
Stadia & Arena has delivered another successful conference in Tokyo this year for the venue industry. From my perspective it has been a great opportunity to connect with other venue professionals and those connected with the industry from around the globe. It has been great to share knowledge as well as learn new things, and to discuss issues, trends and opportunities. I’m looking forward to the 2018 conference already.
Darren Burden , Chief Executive, Vbase
We were very excited to obtain a lot of invaluable industry knowledge from attending the 2017 event and to start to develop key business relationships with people in the sector from around the world.
