Alastair is one of Asia Pacific’s most experienced sports architects with over 27 years’ experience in the development, design and delivery of complex sport facilities. His work has been recognised internationally and locally with numerous architectural and industry awards. Alastair is a regular contributor to conferences and international publications.

Alastair is passionate about designing quality public assembly projects that create a sense of place and brand identity to maximise revenue opportunities and enhance fan experience.

Alastair has been involved in the whole design process from initial strategy development to delivery and commissioning on site of some of Australia and New Zealand’s major stadia projects over the past 23 years.

He has advised Governments on the development of sporting infrastructure as well as developing award winning design concepts for stadia throughout the Asian region. Alastair is recognised as one of the leaders in the Sport Architecture field and has led complex design teams for both stadia and their associated precincts.

Alastair has been involved in some of Asia’s most successful football / rugby stadia (Suncorp Stadia, AAMI Park Stadium, Eden Park, Forsyth Barr Stadium) and retractable roof stadia (Etihad Stadium). During the past 23 years Alastair has been the sports architects and Director for some of Australia and New Zealand’s leading major stadia including rugby and football facilities.
